Production insight: Assembly of Taifun-class compressed air cogeneration plants

Today we would like to give you an insight into the assembly of our compressed air cogeneration plants of the Taifun series. We are currently in the process of completing a highly interesting project, which is also our largest single order to date. The main order is for the construction and delivery of two Taifun class CHP units and a waste heat boiler for steam generation.

Despite the rather high investments, the payback becomes extremely lucrative due to the massively high substitution of electrical energy for compressed air generation and the simultaneous production of process heat and steam. Furthermore, its CO2 emissions are significantly reduced by over 1000 tonnes per year.
